FINANCIAL POLICY

Our main goal is for you to obtain the highest quality of dental care by providing you the service that is based upon a professional and confidential working relationship. In order to prevent misunderstandings, it is our policy to clear all financial obligations prior your treatment.

Payments must be made when services are rendered. If your treatment requires several visits, you will be given an estimate of the costs involved for each visit. For patients with extensive treatment plans, partial payments can be arranged as per our discretion. However, final payment is expected in full upon completion of a procedure. To make payments as convenient as possible, we accept major credit cards, checks, CareCredit, and cash.

We are unable to carry non-insurance balances over 30 days. Finance and repeat billing charges are applied to all overdue accounts. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about our payment policy.

INSURANCE

We participate with most PPO insurance plans , and we will accept direct payment from the insurance company as well as your copayments at time of service.

The following guidelines are necessary to prevent confusion. Since policies and plans vary between companies, certain insurance policy standards are made as follows:

  • Dental insurance policies generally have an annual deductible and you are responsible for paying this amount directly to the office at the beginning of treatment.

  • We will attempt to give you an accurate estimate of your insurance coverage. The amount not covered by your insurance is payable in full at the time of service.

  • The vast majority of dental insurance policies require a co-payment on the part of the patient. This co-payment is generally 20% to 50% of the fee for a given service and this payment will be required from you the day the service is rendered.

  • Dental insurance generally has an annual maximum of benefits, which will be paid to a given patient for the policy year. Any treatment costs that exceed this maximum annual amount are to be paid by you directly to this office.

We will cooperate in every way possible to receive the maximum insurance benefits for which you are entitled. Despite our efforts, disputes may arise with dental insurance companies. If there is a dispute with your insurance company, we will supply any documentation you may need to help resolve this disagreement. However, we must remind you that the relationship is between you and your insurance company, not between our office and your insurance company. Therefore, you are responsible for payment of your bill.
